COUNSELING SERVICES

Therapy is the Greek word for change. Humans naturally resist change due to fear and uncertainty. Individuals and families usually change when they are ready and/or have no  other choice. An emotion, event, thought, behavior, or change in life stages has altered their perception of self and/or the external world. Experiencing and confronting these changes can induce relationship problems, physical, psychological, and spiritual stress symptoms. Our inability to face these challenge over time will causes further mind, body, and spiritual dis-ease.
The success of therapy depends on the realization that we have free will and are responsible for our lifestyle choices. Therapists can be considered a guide on the path to transformation until we are able to continue on the journey unassisted. Once we are conscious of our needs and desires, we can begin visualizing our preferred future and use that insight to alter our present reality in a meaningful way. We are all capable of feeling, thinking and doing better.
Furthering holistic healing in the community is the most important goal at The 8th House . Our success isn’t measured in terms of wealth or profit margin, but by the value we provide to those we serve. We seek to support, empower, and provide high quality therapeutic services that not only treats the mind and body but also the soul.
